Patricia Ann Nooney

Patricia Ann Nooney, 69, of Commerce passed away early in the afternoon of Monday, September 18, 2023.  She was born on October 13, 1953 in Bonham to Charles Weldon Clark and Imogene Elliott Clark.  She was married to Charles Robert Nooney who preceded her in death on January 25, 2015.

Patricia’s greatest pleasure was being with her family and watching her grandchildren grow.  She was a shoulder to cry on and a listening ear for anyone. She welcomed everyone into her home. She was an avid sports fan and cherished watching her grandchildren compete the most. Patricia was extremely proud of her children. Their accomplishments filled her with pride and she told them often.  Pat retired from Office of the Aging in Hudson N.Y. where she excelled in office management serving the elderly. Patricia had a soft spot for serving others. Her helping hands were a testament to what was in her heart.

She is survived by her daughters: Shelly Scott and (Chris) of Sanger, TX and Rebecca Price of Troy, NY; son Billy Morris (Michelle) of McAllen, TX; Kristen Pless (Chris)  granddaughter, who she raised as her daughter; adoptive Davis family Lisa Preston and Jessica Davis both of Ector, TX; grandchildren: Ryan Scott, Holly Scott, Ross Scott, Miranda Scott, Robert Morris Cody Price, Sierra Price, Brittany Morris, Marc Morris, Haley Morris, Wesley McLaury, Riley Morris. Great grandchildren:  Lillian, Traylen, Sophie, Gabby, Logan, Cole, Marissa, Willow, Otis, Colton, Caroline, Leighana, Mikayla, Brennen, Killian, Jaelynne,  Lane, Grace, Bradyn, Camryn.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents: Charles Weldon Clark and Imogene Clark; her husband Charles Robert Nooney and twin brothers Weldon and Eldon Clark.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Terry Bryan officiating.

Honorary pallbearers will be Christopher Pless, Kyle Preston, Robert Morris, Billy Morris, Tracy Davis, Juergan Pechina, Cody Price, Traylen Nooney and Otis Pless.
