Patsy Ruth Fleming Shaw

Patsy Ruth Fleming Shaw, 74, of Wolfe City, passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2024, at Oak Manor Nursing Home in Commerce.  Patsy was born on May 27, 1950 in Wolfe City, Tx to Ben Fleming and Ozie Hashaway.  She was married to the late Jerry Shaw.  Patsy was a loving and dedicated CNA for more than 30 years at Oak Manor Nursing Home.

Left to cherish her memories are daughter Lakebra Jernigan Furtch of Bonham, Tx, son Eddie Jernigan (Reatha) of Wolfe City; stepchildren Gerry Shaw, Mark Wilburn, Rene Roberts, Angela Brown and Jennifer Brown; 9 grandchildren ; Britney Robison, Kenya Hernandez (Kevin), Destinee Washington (Devonte), Haylee Robison (Robert), Tre Robison, Koree Houston, Ashlee Robison and Kourtnee Robison ; 13 great grandchildren; sisters Patricia Herron (Billy) and Elaine Hashaway; brothers Billy Fleming (Della) and Michael Hashaway (Nancy).  She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, a sister and 7 brothers.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 12, 2024, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be held at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Wolfe City on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Dumas Campbell Jr. as eulogist. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel West in Wolfe City.

Pallbearers will be Eugene Brown, Greg White, Tommy Fields, Alfred Champion, Stanley Murphy and E.J. Carter.  Honorary pallbearers are her grandsons and great grandsons.
