Randall “Randy” Lee Kinworthy of Lone Oak, Texas passed away Monday, August 13, 2023 at his residence after a hard battle with cancer. He was born on January 9, 1960 to Jackie and Mary Kinworthy. Randy proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He also worked as a truck driver, plumber and delivered rock. Randy was an avid animal lover. He didn’t just have one pet but many. He had such a passion for rescuing animals from the shelter to the side of the road. Randy found great joy in his love and compassion for animals. Randy also loved to fish in his down time and loved to cruise on his motorcycle. He showed compassion and kindness to all who knew him. He was a brother, father, grandfather and friend to many.
Randy was preceded in death by his father Jackie “Jack” Kinworthy.
He is survived by his two children: Brennan (Staci) Wallace of New Braunfels, Texas and Kelli (Ryan) Propst of Lincolnton, NC, and grandchildren Triston, Rylan, Taylor-Belle, Kiahley, Everly, and Rhyden.
He is also survived by his mother Mary Kinworthy who resides in Tennessee and siblings: Ronnie (Karie) Kinworthy, Rhonda (Eric) Blakenship, and Shanna Gluck; as well as his nieces and nephews and many lifelong friends that he cherished.
The family will have a private memorial at a later date. All memorials can be made in his name to the Commerce Animal Shelter in Commerce, Texas.
