Raymond Thompson

Raymond Thompson, 56, of Commerce passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2014.

Raymond was born in Antlers, Oklahoma, on December 9, 1957, to Mary M. Anderson Thompson and Grover D. Thompson. He was an avid pool player.

Survivors include his son, Jody Vogt of Seattle, WA; his brother, Richard Thompson and his wife Martha Jean of Sulphur Springs; his nephew, Adam Dewayne Thompson of Sulphur Springs; his niece, Martha Ann Thompson of Sulphur Springs; his aunts: Bessie Jean Weems of Hugo, OK, Alice Hall, of Cumby, TX, and Maxine Sullivan of Mississippi; his uncles: George Anderson of Cumby and Lonnie Ray Anderson of Fairlie; and, his mother, Mary M. Gallion of Commerce.

He was preceded in death by his father, Grover Thompson, and his grandparents.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 7, 2014, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home in Commerce.

Graveside services will be conducted on Monday, December 8, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at Darwin Cemetery in Antlers, Oklahoma.
