Rebecca Ann Hester

Rebecca Ann Verner Hester, 87, of Ladonia passed away peacefully at Briarcliff Health Center in Greenville on Friday afternoon April 23, 2021.  She was born on October 13, 1933 in Commerce to Carl Verner and Leona Tiffie Verner.

Rebecca is survived by three daughters: Elizabeth Miller, Brenda Vecchio and husband John, and Wanda Harzke; two sons: Craig Hester and wife Lori and Keith Hester and wife Caryn; 13 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, two half sisters, one infant daughter, one great granddaughter and four nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 29, 2021 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P. M. at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Friday, April 30, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church in Ladonia.  Bro. David Howard will officiate.  Burial will follow at Rosemound Cemetery in Commerce.

Serving as pallbearers will be John Vecchio, Mike Capparelli, Paul Doyle, Craig Hester, Jimmy Prado, Terry Manjane and Daryl Lee Brinkman..
