Richard Eugene Clower,83, of Honey Grove passed away early Sunday morning January 23, 2022 at Seven Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation in Bonham.
Richard was born on December 4, 1938 in Stamps, AR to Argus Eugene Clower Jr. and Lillian Vickers Clower. He worked and retired from the City of Honey Grove as a Telecommunications Officer for the Police Department. He held a Bachelors degree in Business from UNT.
Richard marched to the tune of his own beat and enjoyed gambling, cooking, gardening and traveling. He loved his family dearly.
He is survived by his daughter Shelly Clower of Gainsville, TX; granddaughter Tiffany Clark and husband Kyle of Honey Grove, great-granddaughter Lily Mae Clower, brother Ronald Clower and wife Barbara, nieces Sarah Clower Keathley and husband Steve and Elizabeth Clower Clayton and husband Art. He is also survived by great nieces and nephews: Luke Keathly, Kate Keathley, Lily Kate Clayton and Art Clayton. Numerous friends and associates will remember Richard.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents.
A Celebration of Richard's life will be held on Saturday January 29, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Westside Baptist Church in Honey Grove with Bro. Terry Paul Cunningham officiating.
