Richard Dean Wade Sr.

Richard Dean Wade Sr., 82, of Garland passed away at his residence surrounded by his family on Sunday evening February 9, 2025.  He was born on August 7, 1942, in Dallas, TX to Harmon Allen Wade and Matilda Jane Jones Wade.  He met and married Doris Ramsey on October 31, 1964, and she preceded him in death on August 23, 2024.  Richard worked for the city of McKinney where he retired as a building inspector.

Left to cherish Richard's memories are his daughter Pam Holloway of Wylie, son Richard Wade Jr. of Garland; grandchildren Christy Tolleson, Melissa Streetman, Shannon Thomason, Steven Benner Jr. (Stacy), Tamara Benner, Allison Judd (Satchel), Crystal Guatemala (Edgar) and Carrie Vega (Francisco); 16 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Doris Wade, daughter Rita Sue Champion, great grandchildren Roman McHenry, Wade Adamson and Christian Tolleson.
