Ronnie Dean Nance

Ronnie Dean Nance passed away peacefully on January 27, 2023 from a long illness, with his loved ones by his side. Ron was born in Sulphur Springs, Texas on June 18, 1945 to Sterling and Mildred Nance and was raised by his grandparents, Doc and Minnie Martin. Ron was a member of the US Navy and a Vietnam veteran. Ron never met a stranger, loved baseball, the horses, and music!  

Ron is survived by his loving wife, Sheila, his son Greg (Jill) Nance, stepchildren, Michael (Becky) Fleming, Kim (Bryan) Graham, Pam Burleson, and Chris (Jackie) Burleson along with grandchildren: Brooklyn Nance, Alex Nance, Bryce Nance, Derek Graham, Brittany (Chuck) Ater, Ethan Fleming, James Taylor, Heather Skinner, Mitchell Fleming,  Rylie Burleson, and Jack Burleson.  Other survivors include his great grandchildren: Chloe, Kiki, Zoe, Bella, and Peyton.  

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 3, 2023 from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at Jones-Walker and Son Funeral Home in Commerce, Tx.  A funeral service will follow at 2:00 P.M. at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Terry Bryan officiating.  Interment, with military honors will follow at Klondike Cemetery.
