Roberta Brazda, 83, of Commerce passed away on August 12, 2010 at the Hunt Regional Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
Roberta was born in Lyman, Mississippi to William Levy and Wilhelemia McCormick Entrekin on March 24, 1927.
She loved to play dominoes, crochet, and playing with dogs, most of all her baby "Pepper", and was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend.
Roberta is survived by her daughter, Regina Penland and husband, David; her granddaughters: Dawn Fletcher and Tristan Penland; her grandsons: Jessie Brandon Jr., Kyle Rainwater, and Caleb Penland; a sister, Faye Waltman; great-granddaughters: Eisley Comerford and Eris Fletcher; and great-grandsons: Elliot Comerford and Atticus Fletcher; also survived by special neighbors and friends who knew her as Grandma.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jim Brazda; both parents; sisters: Alma Young and Midge Monroe; and brothers: Robert Entrekin and J.L. Entrekin.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 15, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at Jones-Walker & Son Chapel with Rev. Joel Arnold officiating.
