Ruby Marzee (Cain) Carpenter, 93, passed peacefully at Kemp Care Center in Kemp, Texas at 4:52 p.m. Family was at her bedside. Beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her daughter Gayl Askins, son Rex Larry Carpenter, granddaughter Jenifer; great- grandchildren Tristen, Trevor and Cody.
She was predeceased by her husband Rex LaVellyn Carpenter, granddaughter Katy and all of her close friends.
One of the great generation during WWII, she was employed at General Dynamics building B-25 liberators. A 50 plus year member of OES No. 107; homemaker and licensed beautician.
Ruby is the last of the Cains of Emory, Texas, a typical East Texas farm family with three brothers (2 died in WWII) and two sisters.
Wishing you God speed mother, your pain and suffering in this life is finished.
Graveside services will be conducted on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Shannon Rose Hill Cemetery in Ft. Worth, TX.
Visitation will be on Monday, June 6, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home.
