Sharon Elaine Brewton, beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend passed away on May 28th, 2023 at the age of 80 in Commerce. She was born on February 2nd, 1943 in Commerce to her parents Clyde "Buddy" E. Crowell and Janie Cox Crowell.
Sharon was a woman with a green thumb and an adventurous spirit. She worked as an assistant manager at Circle B for many years where she always greeted everyone with a smile. Known by her colleagues as someone they could always rely on for support and kindness.
She had an undeniable love for plants and flowers, so much so that she was awesome at planting and growing them. Sharon's skills were not just limited to gardening; she was also an incredible fisherwoman who loved spending time fishing with her family and friends. Sharon was always willing to lend her expertise to her loved ones who shared a passion for fishing as well.
Sharon's adventurous side was evident when she began riding motorcycles with the Warriors out of Greenville. She loved hotrods, motorcycles, animals, and flowers so much that it became part of her personality that many grew to admire.
However, Sharon's greatest accomplishment in life was being the mother of three lovely daughters: Tanya Elaine Sneed, Kimberly Ann Sneed Bowen and Brenda Aline Sneed Gearheart. She provided them nothing but love and the desire to pursue their dreams unapologetically. Her children will never forget how supportive their mother was throughout their lives; they will keep her memory alive forever in their hearts.
Sharon is survived by her daughters Brenda Aline Sneed Gearheart, Kimberly Ann Sneed Bowen, her granddaughters Tanya Elaine Wiggins, Sherri Ann Bowen, Brittney Ann Soles Barton and great-grandchildren Kadden Wilson, Daltin King, Delilah Lambert, Hailey Barton, Hanna Warden, Chance Warden, and Emma Warden. She is also survived by her sister Barbara Lewis.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Tanya Elaine Sneed, Bill Sneed and nephews: James Wrisner and Anthony Lewis.
Sharon's life was marked by kindness and love for those around her. Those who knew her will always remember how amazing she was with plants, how much she loved fishing hotrods and motorcycles, but above all, they will remember Sharon as the best mom ever. REST IN PEACE SHARON ELAINE BREWTON - YOU TOUCHED THE HEARTS OF MANY AND WILL FOREVER BE REMEMBERED FOR YOUR KINDNESS AND LOVE.
Blessed be her soul!
