Sherri Rogers, 55, of Commerce passed away on Friday, February 20, 2015, in Greenville.

Sherri was born in Dallas, Texas, on April 29, 1959, to Barbara Anette Tadlock Warner and Charles Robert Warner. Sherri was married to John Rogers. She was a member of Living Word Praise Chapel. Sherri enjoyed bird watching, especially the hummingbirds, gardening, and enjoyed nothing more than taking the church youth group to sing at local nursing homes. Sherri had attained a Certified Nurses Aid Certificate and a Weather Spotter Certificate.

Survivors include her husband, John; her daughter, Jennifer Rogers of Commerce; her step-son, Samuel David Rogers of Paris, Texas; her two brothers: Bobby Warner of Joshua and Chuck Warner of Joshua; and, her two sisters: Becky Warner of Greenville and Toni Moreland of Commerce.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandson, Derreck Blake Barker; and, her grandparents.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Tuesday, February 24, 2015, at 11:00 at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Sister Jeanette Harris officiating.

Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service time.

Interment will be at Rosemound Cemetery.

Interment service follows funeral services.
