Shirley Robnett Castner, 79, of Commerce passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2014, in Paris, Texas.
Shirley was born in Ben Franklin, Texas, on May 31, 1935, to Billie Moody Haggard and Wayne Haggard. For years Shirley worked in the Library at ETSU, now Texas A & M University-Commerce.
She was married to Elmer Castner.
Survivors include her husband; her daughter, Tracy Davis and her husband Benny of Arizona; her granddaughter, Erin Tyler and her husband Paul of Arizona; and, her great-grandson, Paul Tyler Jr. of Arizona. She is also survived by her sister, Sherry Cheney of Paris, Texas; her two sister-in-laws: Beth Scoggin of Fort Worth, Texas, and Sue Kennimer of Yowell, Texas; and, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Graveside services will be conducted on Tuesday, November 25, 2014, at 4:00 p.m. at Shiloh Cemetery in Klondike, Texas, with Rev. Mark Corazao officiating.
