Silver Lee Montgomery

Silver Lee Montgomery, 80, of Commerce passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2013, in Commerce.

Silver was born in Harleton, Texas, on October 5, 1932, to Sewell Bailey and Artie Hall Bailey.

Those left to cherish her memories include her children: Laura Price of Commerce, Connie J. Bonnick (Rennie) of Tucson, AZ, Willie E. Montgomery (Alanna) of Dallas and Charles R. Montgomery of Navasota; her sisters: Lonzell Stigger of Sulphur Springs, Regine Kelly (Pastor Sterling) of Longview, Suzan Bailey and Hazel Mayberry of Commerce and Corinne Phelps and Mary Price of Fresno, CA; her brothers: Herbert Bailey and Herman Bailey of Commerce; 14 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; and, a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Charles Edward Montgomery, her son Ezekiel "Tom" Bailey and her brother Hubert "Tiger".

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, June 1, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at Disciples of Faith, 1015 Bois D' Arc, Commerce, TX with Pastor J. W. Scott and Pastor Curtis William officiating.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Starr, Glen Bailey, David Bailey, Bennie Hatley, Larry Hatley and Herman Bailey Jr.

Honorary Pallbearers will be grandsons and friends.

Burial will follow at Rosemound Cemetery in Commerce.
