Susan "Robbin" Meeks

Susan Robbin Jones Meeks, 54, of Caddo Mills, TX, passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2010, in Greenville, TX.

Robbin was born on September 12, 1956, to Joseph Robert Jones and Freddie Sue Ferrell Jones in Pensacola, FL. She was an X-ray technologist for Dr. Jack Thomas.

Survivors include her husband, Ricky Meeks; her daughter, Heather Rea; her son, Hunter Rea; her parents: Joe Jones and wife, Janie, of Canton and Sue Jones of Como; three brothers: Stanley Jones and wife, Barbara, of Royse City, Steve Jones and wife, Amy, of Celina, and Sam Jones and wife, Kelly, of Huffman; her sister, Marie Jones Humphries and husband, Jake, of Commerce; and several nieces and nephews.

Robbin was preceded in death by her grandparents: Joe and Hazel Jones and Freeman and Lucy Ferrell; and her nephew, Riley Cade Humphries.

Visitation will be held at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service on Thursday, December 30, 2010, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, December 31, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. in the Cross Trails Cowboy Church in Fairlie with David Meeks officiating.

Burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery. in Delta County.

Pallbearers will be Craig Jones, Seth Jones, Travis Varnell, John Varnell, Steven Ray Meeks, Jr., and Joe Willtrout Jr.

Honorary pallbearers will be Sam Pierson, Malcolm Ferrell, Jimmy Ferrell, Dale Ferrell, and Jake Humphries.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
