Thelma Fay Kent

Thelma Fay Kent, 82, of Commerce passed away early Thursday morning July 7, 2022 surrounded by her family at Legends Healthcare in Greenville.

Fay was born in Winnsboro, TX on June 9, 1940 to Dewey Romine and Annie Lou Jones Romine.  She met and married Billy Dwayne Kent on November 2, 1956.

Fay is survived by her children: Lannie Kent of Blue Ridge; Eddie Kent and wife Dana of Seagoville; Kim Sagely and husband Mike of Commerce and Billy Kent and wife Angie of Commerce; grandchildren: Cody Kent, Stephanie McPherson and husband Brian, Holly Attaway and husband Dean, Myka McPherson and husband Jacob, Nick Morgan and wife Tiffany, Misty Post and husband Thomas and Kelsey Hernandez and husband Eric; 21 great grandchildren; sisters: Valley Toth of Sachse and Sue Justice of Lone Oak.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son Danny D. Kent, twin brother Ray Romine and  a sister Jean Edgar.

A Celebration of Life will be held on July 24, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Christ United Church in Blue Ridge, TX.
