Tommie Narree Green

Tommie Narree Green, 102, of Commerce, passed away at home early Saturday morning March 21, 2020.

Tommie was born in New Boston, TX on June 12, 1917 to Tom Wilson and Ada Hill Wilson. She met and married John L. "Joe" Green on July 8, 1935. To this union they had eight children.

Tommie was a homemaker who loved to cook and be around her loving family.

Tommie received a proclamation on July 21, 2018 from the City of Commerce making it "Tommie Green Day" commemorating her 101st birthday.

She is survived by her daughter Ada Hines, sons Joe T. Green, James Green and Johnny L. Green; very special niece Levestar Neal; 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons Charles Henry Green, Homer D. Green and Vernon R. Green and daughter Willie M. Harrison.

Due to the current COVID-19 situation, there will be a private burial. No visitation or funeral service will be held.
