Travis Marion White

Travis Marion White, 66, of Commerce passed away on Friday, October 19, 2012, at his home in Commerce.

Travis was born in Pittsburg, TX, to Della Foster and Elvis T. J. White on October 3, 1946. On December 17, 1969, he married Diana May Bailey in Abilene, TX. He was a retired oil field worker who loved fishing, hunting and his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; his daughter, Lynette Lynn White; and his two brothers: Wayne White and Melton White.

Survivors include his daughters: Bitsy Sue White (Gilliland) of Commerce, Carol Lynn Manning of Rockwall, Cheryl Lee Hagston of Commerce, and Kelly Michelle Lewis of Commerce; his brother, Jerry White of Pittsburg, TX; his sister, Frances White of Pittsburg, TX; and, his grandchildren: Jordan Gilliland, Dustin Gilliland, Damien Hagston, Colby Lewis, Tristin Lewis, Karis Lewis and Blake Manning.

Memorial services will be held on Monday, October 22, 2012, at 6:00 p.m. at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service Chapel in Commerce with Chaplain Brian Padelford officiating.
