Uriel Gutierrez

Uriel Gutierrez, 53, of Sulphur Springs passed away on Friday, July 21, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family.

Uriel was born in El Ejido El Rodeo, Jalpa, Zacatecas on November 8, 1963 to David Gutierrez and Maria Cruz Gonzalez. He married Martina Preciado on March 23, 1991 in Los Angeles, CA. Uriel was a self employed labor worker that was respected by many. He loved music, work and to be happy. He was very proud of his children's awards and achievements.

Survivors include his wife Martina; daughter, Iris Gutierrez of Sulphur Springs, his sons: Edwin Gutierrez of Dallas, TX, Uriel Gutierrez Jr. of Sulphur Springs, TX, David Gutierrez and Isaac Gutierrez both of Sulphur Springs.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 28, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the St. James Catholic Church located at 297 Texas St. Sulphur Springs, TX 75482. Father Juan Carlos Sardinas Perez will officiate.
