Victor Devron Dixon

Victor Devron Dixon, 43, of Honey Grove died Thursday, December 2, 2010 at UT Southwestern Hospital in Dallas, TX.

Victor was born on December 21, 1966 in Vernon, TX to Helen F. Dixon and Charles Rocquemoore Jr. He married his love Mary Coleman.

Victor is survived by his mother, Helen F. Dixon Roberts of Honey Grove; wife Mary; a daughter, Victoria Dixon; two sisters Lisa Johnson (Aaron) of Lancaster, TX and Melanie Daniels (J.W.) of Honey Grove; two brothers Jon Dixon (Anita) of Ft. Stewart, GA and Errin Dixon of Longview, TX; grandson Quintreill Coleman. He is also survived by a host of neices, nephews, aunts, uncles, family, and friends.

He was preceeded in death by his father Charles Rocquemoore Jr., stepfather Willie Roberts; stepson Benjamin Coleman, grandfather Frank Dixon; grandmothers Maggie Dixon and Helen Scott Dixon; and great grandmother Helen Ferguson.

Homegoing services will be Saturday, December 11, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the St. James Baptist Church, 700 E. Scott St., Honey Grove. Rev. David Moore will officiate. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Honey Grove, TX.

Pallbearers are Glen McCarty, Patrick Phifer, Kim Finney, Brent Johnson, Robert Clark, and Corey Johnson.

Honorary Pallbearers are Anthony Daniels, Leigh Dixon, Samuel McCarty, Aaron Johnson, J.W. Daniels Jr., Jon Dixon, and Errin Dixon.
