Wiley Winn Cross

Wiley Winn Cross, 87, of Cooper passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 2012, in Commerce.

He was born April 23, 1925, in Denton. Wiley attended Fort Worth Baptist Seminary for three years. He was also a WW II U. S. Army veteran and a member of the Central Baptist Church of Sulphur Springs.

Wiley was preceded in death by his wife, Ina Sweatman Cross; his parents; his brothers: Cecil and Huell Cross; and, his sister Lucille Cross.

Survivors include his two sons: Johnny Cross (Alice) of Commerce and David Cross (Connie) of Corpus Christi; his daughter, Jaima Dobbs (Mike) of Ohio; his grandsons: Paul Cross, Philip Cross, Daniel Cross and Mark Cross; his great grandsons: Matt Cross, Luke Cross, Joshua Cross, Isaac Cross and Aaron Cross; and his great granddaughter, Sara Cross.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2012, at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service beginning at 9:30 a.m..

Graveside services with military honors will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 12, 2012, at Sonora Cemetery in Fairlie, TX.
