William Paul Luckey

William Paul Luckey, 54, of Commerce passed away early Monday morning February 10, 2025 at his residence just eight days after his beloved father.  He was born on December 26, 1970 in Rockwall, TX.  Paul and his dad were inseparable, if you saw one, you saw the other.  His father was not just his parent, but his best friend, and when his dad passed, Paul's heart simply couldn't bear the loss.

A man of many talents, Paul could fix anything: cars, houses, roofs, you name it and he knew how to make it right.  His hands were always busy.

Paul came from a large family, one of eight siblings.  He was preceded in death by both of his parents, as well as his brothers James Earl Luckey and Michael Anthony Luckey and a nephew Jerry Don.  

He is survived by two sons: Chris Luckey and Robert Luckey; grandson Chris Luckey Jr.; sister Barbara Brown; brothers: Leonard Ray Luckey, Larry Charles Luckey (Sheila), Victor Luckey (Diane) and Sherman Luckey (Katherine).  He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.

Rest easy, Paul.  You're back by daddy's side, just where you always wanted to be.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.
