William Loyd Newman

William Loyd Newman, 62, of Commerce, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2013, in Commerce.

"Loyd" was born in Levelland, Hockley County Texas, on May 23, 1950, to Elmer Roy Newman and Cuba Jean Yates Newman.

Survivors include his two brothers: John W. Newman and his wife Judy, of Mesquite and Troy Newman and his wife Marlys, of McKinney.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2013, from 11:00 a.m. until service time, at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home in Commerce.

Graveside services will be conducted on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Bugtussle, TX., with Rev. Thomas O. Brumett officiating.
