Wilma "Faye" Guthrie

Wilma Faye Guthrie, 82, of Irving, formerly of Commerce, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2014, in Irving.

Faye was born in Telephone, TX., on April 07, 1931, to Plez and Susie Hamlin, she attended Commerce High School, and on December 26, 1947, she married Vernon Ray Guthrie, in Commerce.

Survivors include her husband, Ray Guthrie of Irving; her daughter Kaye Citzler and her husband Mark, of Flower Mound and her sister Hazel Sharp of Krum, TX.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A private family burial will be conducted on Sunday, February 23, 2014, at Rosemound Cemetery.
